BENYLIN^® Phlegm Cough is a non-drowsy formula which works deep down to help make your cough more productive.

How it works

Active ingredient guaifenesin helps to thin and loosen mucus in your chest, making it easier to cough up. The levonmenthol provides a soothing sensation.

What is a phlegm cough?

Phlegm coughs are caused by a build-up of phlegm in the lungs and on the chest. The cough mechanism kicks in to try and get rid of this excess phlegm.

Directions for use:

For oral use only.

Do not use more than the stated dose shown.

Adults and children aged 12 years and over:

• Take Two 5 ml spoonfuls, four times a day
• Do not take more than 4 doses in 24 hours.  If symptoms persist, talk to your doctor or pharmacist

Warnings:

• Do not exceed the stated dose
• Does not use with chronic cough such as occur with asthma or where cough is accompanied by excessive secretions, without consulting a doctor.
• Keep bottle tightly closed in order to protect from moisture.

Contains:

• Guaifenesin 100mg, Levomenthol 1.1 mg.
• Other ingredients include: Liquid glucose, sucrose, colouring E124.
• This product contains 5 vol % ethanol.
• This product contains 16.42mg sodium per 5ml.
